ABOUT THE BUBBLE CLUB
The Bubble Club was conceived in Whitstable, Kent in the Autumn of 2009 to bring great live performers to our locality; established old hands alongside exciting new acts. We opened our live promoting account with the songwriting legend and British institution that is Chris Difford.
Since those early days we have expanded our remit to put on live shows in a number of venues, including Whitstable, Canterbury and Paddock Wood, with capacities from 120 to 500.
Inspired by an insatiable love of music and helped along by their respective experiences running their own businesses, the Bubble Club is steered by old friends Steve Weaver, a chef, caterer and restaurateur, and Rob O’Connor, film director and creative director of music creative agency Stylorouge.
The Bubble Club has hosted gigs by Paul Young’s Los Pacaminos, Treetop Flyers, Congo Faith Healers, Glenn Tilbrook and rising folk star Luke Jackson and great rock and blues artists; Pete Molinari, Virgil and The Accelerators, Marcus Bonfanti, King Size Slim, Little Axe/Skip Macdonald, Son Of Dave and Nine Below Zero. Our latest promotions include shows by Ryley Walker, Bruce Foxton’s From The Jam and the mighty Squeeze.
